At IzeeGold Mother and Baby Foundation, we believe that every woman deserves support and every child deserves a healthy start. Through maternal care, child wellness, education, and advocacy, we are building a world where women and children thrive.

800 Death Daily

Approximately 800 women die every day from preventable causes related to pregnancy and childbirth, with 99% of these deaths occurring in low-resource countries.

4.9m under-5 deaths

In 2022, there were 4.9 million under-five deaths worldwide, with nearly half occurring during the first month of life, mostly from preventable causes. Child mortality deserves our attention!

13.4 million Still-births

Approximately 13.4 million babies were born preterm in 2020, a figure that has remained relatively unchanged over the past decade.

Perception Change

Majority of women, particularly Gen Z and millennials, perceive motherhood to be detrimental to their careers and self-confidence.

Stunted Growth

By 2050, an additional 40 million children are projected to suffer from stunted growth and 28 million from wasting due to malnutrition.

Disparity

African women are 130 times more likely to die from pregnancy and childbirth complications compared to their counterparts in the West.
